Rivea London showcases new floral desserts

As the buzz builds in the lead-up to the Chelsea Flower Show, Rivea London plans to put on a sweet floral show of its own.

Nothing makes you want dessert more than by making it a one-week-only-and it’s-gone affair. That and the fact that the desserts look like this. In celebration of the Chelsea Flower Show (24-28 May 2016), Rivea London at the Bulgari Hotel will be serving up a duo of new floral desserts created by Alexandre Talpaert, a protégé of Alain Ducasse.

The Wild Strawberry and Poppy Pergola (pictured above), beautifully constructed, consists of a lemon zest shortbread topped with poppy mousse, wild strawberries and a scoop of strawberry sorbet. A delicate chocolate pergola structure completes the dish.

Next up is the Chelsea Flower Show Planter (above), a dark chocolate case filled with lime and vanilla cream brimming with a colourful array of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and edible flowers.

What a blooming wonderful way to kick-start your spring.

The desserts cost £8 each and are available from 23-29 May 2016.
