New Fitzrovia restaurant The Ninth opens with a half-price food offer.
French-Mediterranean restaurant The Ninth is the first solo venture by chef Jun Tanaka. Expect a sharing menu of seasonal dishes that have been given a distinctly lighter makeover, from salted beef cheeks with oxtail consommé, and lamb en croute with truffles, to razor clam ceviche and seabream with anchovy dressing.
In advance of its official opening on 23 November, the restaurant will have a three-day (19 – 21 November) soft launch in which diners can enjoy dishes at half the usual price. Tables will be available for dinner on 19 – 20 November, and for lunch and dinner on 21 November.
