A French twist
This afternoon tea may have been given a French makeover but it’s a pretty indulgent way to spend a couple of hours. Amongst plush surroundings, enjoy a selection of sourdough tartines topped with foie gras and fig or feta cheese and tomato. Scones give way to madeleines but you can still fill them with as much jam and clotted cream as you can handle, whilst the pastries aim to please all-round with a trio of fruit, chocolate and cream treats. And if tea doesn’t hit the spot, you can have a hot chocolate made from Alain Ducasse’s bean-to-bar brand Manufacture de Chocolat.
