Cocktail diary: Radio at ME London

ME London Radio Exterior 2

Radio Bar contents

WHAT’S THE DEAL?: A seriously smart and stylish rooftop bar occupying the 10th floor of former Marconi House, the old home of the BBC and now home to the ME London Hotel

WHAT’S GOOD?: Pretty much everything from the eclectic cocktail menu including the sweet-with-a-kick Radio-Active (gin, kiwi, apple and nettle) to the thirst-quenching refresher AM/FM (rum, raspberry liqueur, mint, lemon and passion fruit). The summery mocktails are pretty darn good too

THE OCCASION: Swanky entertaining. If you’re out to impress, this is place to do it

QUIRKS AND PERKS: The view of the London cityscape is tremendous with pretty much every key London landmark in sight including St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the London Eye. The Mediterranean-inspired food menu makes for the ultimate in al-fresco dining and in the evening, to help you get though the extensive drinks menu, there are live DJs to entertain you until 3am

Radio at ME London, 336-337 The Strand, WC2R 1HA.
